Sunday 16th August 2020 should have been the day I took part in RideLondon 100 with my three children to support MNDA. My husband, Guy, had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2019. This was our way of raising awareness and supporting the charity. However, the pandemic arrived and the event was cancelled.
Sadly Guy died in December 2020.
Two years on ... I will be cycling RideLondon-Essex 60 mile version on Sunday 29th May 2022 wearing my MNDA cycling top. The goal is to finish the event, to enjoy it but most importantly to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease Association.
